It is basically a natural mineral amalgamate of three minerals mainly muscovite+quartz+chlorite. The natural bonding and mix of these three minerals bring in the properties which are very much suitable for various industrial applications basically in paints and plastic and rubber products.
Natural muscovite is a rare mineral with high elasticity and large aspect ratio particles, Quartz has natural cubic round particles shape and chlorite has flaky smooth platey structure like that of talco. All these minerals together with these physical and chemical characteristics create a strong bond unmatchable to any other mineral in its natural form.
Our Indian Leucophyllite mining sources have a higher level of purity with few acid soluble contamination and free iron than compared to the mining sources in Europe. The material has a improved whiteness levels i.e. min. whiteness starting at 80% (Y) - 90% (Y) which can easily eliminate the use of costly mica or white talc products in the applied industrial application. Hence higher loading levels at lesser costs.
Starting from right grading of raw material to selection of rightful grinding technique to ensure right particle size and fineness our PLASTOMIX and PLASTOWHITE products are offered at various levels of fineness for varied industrial use applications.
Our Specialized range of Plastowhite material is a natural minerali amalgamate . The material has all the benefits of a traditional talc filler + mica + chlorite but with added benefits of its physical appearance , Chemical properties ,excellent particle size and whiteness makes it a unique product for varied industrial applications. We manufacture standard two grades one is Plastowhite‐ 500 (fine grade) and other Plastowhite‐1200 (ultrafine grade)
Our Plastowhite platey white pigment has properties which are desirable to the paint/coating formulation. With increased whiteness , controlled /finer particle size the material shows increased opacity , better scrub resistance , ease of dispersion , excellent tio2 spacer , relatively lower oil absorption , faster surface drying ,improved adhesion , corrosion resistance and durability to the paint film. With these properties the material acts as a better and cost effective substitute to costlier white pigments such as pure talc's and calcined clays.
In the polymer industry our material has numerous advantages over traditional micronized/ microfine talc and clays. With improved whiteness , platey particle shape and finer particle size the material improves many mechanical and physical properties unmatched with the traditional talc fillers used in the plastics. Improved stiffness and impact resistance , Scratch resistance , tensile strength , heat resistance, and dimensional stability counts as the primary benefit of using this material over costly jet milled talc products. Our Star product Plastowhite 1200 has equivalent fineness characteristics to the jet milled talc products but are cost effective and proves as better filler for use in premium automotive exterior as well as interior parts and electronic devices manufacturing.
Higher melting point of our material Improves mechanical strength , fire resistance properties thereby increasing the durability of the wire and cable insulation. Chemical properties provide good durability , improved life and tear resistance properties to the end product.
